UXUY Launches Stock Tokenization Platform uStock to Expand Liquidity for US and Hong Kong Stocks
Decentralized exchange UXUY has launched a stock tokenization service platform called uStock, targeting small and medium-sized listed companies in the US and Hong Kong stock markets. The platform provides share issuance, on-chain investor distribution, and liquidity services. It will connect listed companies with global on-chain investors, using stablecoins such as UUSD as tools for subscription, pricing, and settlement. Each uToken corresponds to the economic rights of one share of the underlying stock, covering price fluctuations, cash dividends, and corporate actions. The underlying stocks are custodied by licensed brokers and trusts, and are isolated through independent asset-holding entities. The platform will disclose stock custody, token issuance, and asset coverage through a Proof of Underlying verification mechanism. uStock plans to establish an initial liquidity pool for uToken/UUSD and introduce on-chain market makers, gradually supporting round-the-clock on-chain trading and exploring integration with UXUY's self-developed Perp DEX to expand on-chain perpetual contract trading for uToken assets. UXUY founder 0xKevin stated that this will allow stablecoins to enter more real asset scenarios, helping US and Hong Kong listed companies reach global investors and capital, while continuously improving issuance, trading, and liquidity services.
