Trust Wallet warns of iOS vulnerabilities exposing wallet data

Trust Wallet warned that attack tools targeting older iOS versions could expose wallet data and urged users to update their operating systems. Security researchers identified two tools: Coruna, targeting iOS 13.0 through 17.2.1, and DarkSword, targeting iOS 18.4 through 18.7. These tools exploit iOS vulnerabilities or bypass security features via malicious websites to access sensitive information. Trust Wallet clarified that the tools do not exploit flaws in wallet apps but rather weaknesses in iOS, allowing access to stored wallet data if a device is compromised. Users are advised to update to the latest iOS version supported by their device. If an immediate update is not possible, enabling Lockdown Mode, avoiding unfamiliar websites, and refraining from storing recovery phrases or private keys in screenshots or note-taking apps are recommended.
