Musk Claims AI Data Center Companies Face Tightening Debt Financing Channels, Over 200 Cloud Service Providers May Face Elimination
Musk stated on the X platform that the debt financing market has almost completely closed off funding channels for companies lacking significant revenue sources outside of AI data center operations. He pointed out that SpaceX has completed $40 billion in GPU-related debt financing, benefiting from its investment-grade credit rating and the revenue generated from Starlink and rocket launch operations. Musk anticipates that over 200 emerging cloud service providers will face large-scale bankruptcies and industry consolidation, with only a few companies ultimately able to survive.

Thursday’s tech and AI-chain decline pulled BTC below $76,000, moving the market from earnings trades into a second-wave volatility window.
