How Many iPhone 18 Pro Max Can 1 BTC Buy Right Now?

By: WEEX|11/04/2026 08:45:00

TL;DR

  • Current Buying Power: 1 BTC ($77,446) could buy approximately 40.8 iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB models as of 06:34 UTC on Nov. 4, 2026.
  • Year-over-Year Decline: Bitcoin's purchasing power fell 38.8% from 66.7 iPhones a year ago, driven mainly by BTC's 27.3% price drop and Apple's $300 price increase.
  • Historical Comparison: Despite the decline, 1 BTC still buys more iPhones than it did in September 2021, 2022, 2023, or 2024.
  • WEEX Shopping Fest: Enter the Lucky Eggs event from Nov. 4–25 (UTC+8) for a chance to win an iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB, PS5 Pro, DJI Osmo 360 II, and more.

1 BTC could buy about 40.8 iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB models as of about 06:34 UTC on Nov. 4, 2026, per CoinGecko, down from about 66.7 of last year's 1TB model on Nov. 3, 2025. The lower Bitcoin price accounts for roughly 70% of that drop and Apple's $300 price rise for the rest. Even so, 40.8 phones is more than 1 BTC bought in September of any year from 2021 to 2024.

How Many iPhone 18 Pro Max Models Can 1 BTC Buy Today?

At this snapshot, 1 BTC buys 40.78 phones. You can recheck that in seconds by dividing the Bitcoin price by 1,899, the launch price of the 1TB model.
MeasureNov. 3, 2025 baselineNov. 4, 2026 snapshotChange
BTC price$106,581.26$77,446.09-27.30%
1TB Pro Max launch price$1,599$1,8990.188
Phones per 1 BTC66.6540.78-38.80%
BTC per phone0.0150.02450.634
Every $1,899 move in Bitcoin changes the answer by one phone. A swing of a few percent in a single session can therefore add or remove a phone or two, so treat the figure as a reading taken at one moment.

How Does 1 BTC's iPhone Buying Power Compare With Previous Years?

Only against last year's reading. Many people assume the current figure marks an unusually poor moment for Bitcoin holders, but the data shows it looks that way mainly because the comparison starts from a very high base.
The table below uses Digrin's monthly BTC history for September, the month Apple usually puts new iPhones on sale, and the launch price of each year's 1TB Pro Max.
SeptemberBTC monthly price1TB Pro Max pricePhones per 1 BTC
2021 (iPhone 13)$43,790.90$1,59927.4
2022 (iPhone 14)$19,431.79$1,59912.2
2023 (iPhone 15)$26,967.92$1,59916.9
2024 (iPhone 16)$63,329.50$1,59939.6
2025 (iPhone 17)$114,056.08$1,59971.3
2026 (iPhone 18)$83,553.85$1,89944
Two details stand out. The range is huge: a coin that bought about 12 phones in 2022 bought about 71 three years later. The other is that the phone's price barely played a part until now. The 1TB Pro Max stayed at $1,599 for five generations, so every change in this column from 2021 to 2025 came from Bitcoin. The iPhone 18 cycle is the first in which both sides of the ratio moved.
The year-on-year comparison is accurate, and it starts from one of the strongest readings in this series. A reader who bought in 2024 and a reader who bought in late 2025 would look at the same 40.8 and reach opposite conclusions.

How Much of the Drop Comes From Bitcoin vs. the iPhone Price Increase?

No. Many people assume the shrinking count is purely a Bitcoin story, but the data shows the sticker price did about 30% of the damage.
Hold the phone at last year's $1,599 and the Nov. 4 Bitcoin price still buys 48.43 units. Of the 25.9 phones lost, about 18.2 come from the lower BTC price. The other 7.7 come from the $300 price rise.
The order of that split depends on which variable you change first, so read it as a rough attribution. The direction does not change: Bitcoin is the larger factor, and the phone's price is too large to ignore.
Bottom line: A buyer shopping for this phone has lost purchasing power from two separate sources, and only one of them has anything to do with crypto.

Why Did the iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB Price Increase by $300?

Storage is where the increase landed. MacRumors reports a $100 rise at the entry level and a $300 rise at 1TB, which took the cost of stepping up from 256GB to 1TB from $400 to $600.
That changes the answer for anyone who does not need the top tier:
Pro Max storageLast year's priceThis year's pricePhones per BTC, thenPhones per BTC, nowChange
256GB$1,199$1,29988.959.6-32.90%
1TB$1,599$1,89966.740.8-38.80%
The backdrop is a memory market under strain from AI demand. TrendForce, as reported by Evertiq on Oct. 2, projects NAND flash contract prices rising 15% to 20% in Q4 2026 and conventional DRAM rising 10% to 15%. The same report says smartphone makers are leaning on existing inventory and buying minimum volumes, and that consumer electronics are struggling to absorb higher costs.
This part of the price gap has little to do with crypto. Data centers and phone makers are buying from the same tight memory supply, and a storage-heavy phone feels that competition directly.

How Much Bitcoin Do AirPods, PS5 Pro and Other Gadgets Cost?

At the Nov. 4 snapshot, four popular gadgets add up to about 0.045 BTC, and the iPhone alone makes up about 55% of that bill. The list uses launch or list prices, so deals around Singles' Day on Nov. 11 and Black Friday on Nov. 27 could lower the real total.
ItemReference priceApprox. BTC now
AirPods 5from $1290.0017
DJI Osmo 360 IIfrom a reported $5310.0069
PlayStation 5 Pro$899.990.0116
iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB$1,8990.0245
Total$3,458.990.0447
The more useful comparison is how each item's BTC cost changed from a year earlier, because the products behaved differently.
The DJI camera is left out of that comparison because REVU's $531 is a reported conversion, and we could not find an official launch price in the same currency.
Bottom line: A flat-priced product shows the pure Bitcoin effect at about 38%. Anything above that is the product's own inflation showing through.

What BTC Price Would Restore Last Year's iPhone Buying Power?

About $126,600, which is above Bitcoin's record high. That is the arithmetic result of matching last year's 66.65 phones at the new $1,899 price.
CryptoTicker puts the all-time high at $126,296, set on Oct. 6, 2025. A return to that exact level would buy 66.5 phones, just short of last year's count. Apple's price rise has added about $20,000 to the Bitcoin price needed to match last year's count on this one product.

What Are the Extra Costs of Buying an iPhone With Bitcoin?

H3: Crypto Card Fees and Bitcoin Conversion Costs

Crypto cards can add costs through exchange-rate spreads, conversion fees, or loading charges. A 2026 DeFi Prime review found that seven cards produced charges ranging from €12.92 to €13.09 for the same €11.17 purchase, a difference of about 1.3%. Some cards may also charge loading fees of 2% to 5%, although fee information varies by provider.
For a $1,899 iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB, even a small additional fee can reduce your Bitcoin purchasing power:

0%$1,89940.78
1.30%$1,92440.26
2%$1,93739.98
5%$1,99438.84
The actual cost depends on the card provider, conversion rate, and payment method.

Do You Pay Taxes When Spending Bitcoin?

In many jurisdictions, spending Bitcoin is treated as a disposal of the asset, similar to selling it. This means the difference between your original purchase price and the value at the time of spending may create a taxable capital gain or loss.
For example, spending the 0.0245 BTC needed for an iPhone 18 Pro Max 1TB at the Nov. 4, 2026 price would result in:
  • Coins bought in September 2023: Approximately $1,238 in gains, based on a BTC price of $26,967.92.
  • Coins bought in September 2025: Approximately $898 in losses, based on a BTC price of $114,056.08.
Tax treatment depends on your country and individual circumstances. Check local regulations or consult a tax professional before spending cryptocurrency.

How Does Bitcoin Price Volatility Affect Checkout Costs?

Bitcoin's price can change between the moment you decide to make a purchase and the moment the payment is processed.
Converting BTC into fiat currency several days before checkout can lock in your spending amount and remove exposure to subsequent price movements. However, converting at checkout means the final cost remains exposed to Bitcoin's market fluctuations until the transaction is completed.
This is why the Bitcoin-to-iPhone comparison in this article uses a specific timestamp rather than a fixed exchange rate.

Do Regional iPhone Prices and Warranties Affect the Cost?

The $1,899 price used in this comparison is the reference launch price for the 1TB iPhone 18 Pro Max. Actual iPhone prices vary by country, taxes, and local retail conditions.
Buying an imported iPhone at a lower price may also involve differences in warranty coverage and network compatibility. These factors should be considered alongside the BTC exchange rate when comparing the real cost of purchasing an iPhone with Bitcoin.

What Are the Extra Costs of Buying an iPhone With Bitcoin?

The conversion above assumes no friction, and real checkouts have plenty. Paying through a crypto card can lower your count by one or two phones before any tax is considered.
Conversion and loading costs. Cards usually convert your crypto when you pay, and many show no explicit fee because the cost sits inside the exchange rate. DeFi Prime's 2026 review cites a receipt test in which seven cards charged between $12.92 and $13.09 for the same €11.17 purchase, a 1.3% gap in the same minute. It also cites one list's claim of 2% to 5% loading fees on many cards, while warning that the list's fee data was sometimes wrong.
Applied to this phone, those rates look like this:
Added cost on $1,899Effective pricePhones per BTC
None$1,89940.78
1.30%$1,92440.26
2%$1,93739.98
5%$1,99438.84
Tax. Many jurisdictions treat spending crypto as a disposal, which works much like a sale. That makes your original purchase price part of the cost of the phone. Spending the 0.0245 BTC needed for this model at the Nov. 4 price would show about $1,238 of gain on coins bought at the September 2023 price of $26,967.92. The same spend would show about $898 of loss on coins bought at the September 2025 price of $114,056.08. How those figures are treated depends on where you live, so check local rules or ask a tax professional.
Timing. BTC can move between conversion and payment. Converting days ahead fixes your spending amount and removes your exposure to later moves in either direction. Converting at checkout leaves that exposure open until the last second. The same movement is why every figure in this article is tied to a timestamped price.
Warranty and region. List prices vary by market, and a cheaper import may come with a different warranty or different network support.

Broadcom (AVGO) : AI Growth, Fund Positioning, and Guarantee Risk

Broadcom (AVGO) recently fell with the semiconductor sector, closing down 10.43% at $291.53 on November 5. The shares rebounded more than 4% in premarket trading on November 6. Concerns that election results could lead to tighter AI rules and slower data center approvals contributed to a broad sell-off, with a semiconductor index falling about 12%. The move appears tied mainly to sector sentiment and policy concerns, with no clear company-specific negative catalyst identified.

Institutional trading and AI growth expectations are also in focus. ARK funds sold about $134 million of Broadcom shares over two sessions while adding to SpaceX. Citi maintained its Buy rating and projected that Broadcom’s AI semiconductor revenue could reach $115 billion in fiscal 2027, roughly doubling year over year. Broadcom had approximately $179.2 billion in signed contracts as of the prior quarter, while analysts estimated fourth-quarter AI chip revenue at about $21.7 billion. These forecasts will need to be tested against future results.

Contingent guarantees are another point for investors to monitor. Broadcom is providing guarantees tied to Anthropic’s AI rack-leasing arrangement, involving about $29 billion in the first phase and a second-phase plan of up to $43 billion. Banks plan to issue $21 billion in bonds to support related chip financing. The guarantee amounts are not the same as debt already incurred, but they add a potential risk to assess. Broadcom is scheduled to report its next quarterly results on December 9, when management’s outlook for fiscal 2027 AI demand will be closely watched. Netflix (NFLX) Stock Rebounds: Insider Sales, Advertising, and Growth Plans

Several Netflix executives sold company shares in early November 2026. Co-CEO Theodore Sarandos sold 27,312 shares from November 3 to 4, valued at about $1.81 million. CFO Spencer Neumann sold shares worth approximately $612,000. Co-CEO Gregory Peters realized about $1.69 million, including transactions related to tax withholding. Chief Legal Officer David Hyman and director Bradford Smith also reduced their holdings. Executive sales can have different reasons and should not be viewed on their own as a measure of the company’s outlook.

After recent pressure, Netflix shares rebounded more than 4% around November 4. Bill Ackman’s Pershing Square Capital Management allocated about 5% of its portfolio to Netflix, while new AI features and positive views on the company’s technology prospects helped sentiment. Netflix reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $13.44 billion and earnings per share of $0.87, both above expectations, though its forward outlook remains a key focus.

Advertising is one of Netflix’s main challenges. Delays to key ad product features led the company to reduce its annual advertising revenue outlook from $3 billion to $2.7 billion. Viewer engagement has also faced pressure from changes in content appeal and competition from platforms such as YouTube. Netflix is pursuing growth through live events, gaming, and advertising, with plans to expand its ad-supported offering to 15 markets while adjusting its workforce by about 6% to improve margins. Investors may want to monitor advertising growth, engagement, and profitability. This article is for informational purposes only and is not investment advice.

Carvana Earnings: Record Sales, Strong Profit, and Insider Share Sales

Carvana reported third-quarter net revenue of $8.04 billion, up 42.4% year over year and above the $7.7 billion market estimate. Retail units sold reached a record 217,385, an increase of 39.4%. Net income rose to $483 million, while adjusted EBITDA reached a record $800 million, reflecting gains in both revenue and profitability.

Management expects full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA to reach the upper end of its $2.7 billion to $3.0 billion range. Needham maintained its Buy rating, named Carvana a top pick in transportation technology, and set a $100 price target. Strong results and guidance have drawn investor attention, though continued performance will depend on sales, margins, and operating costs.

Insider transactions are also on investors’ radar. A regulatory filing indicates that CFO Mark Jenkins planned to sell 63,800 shares on November 2, 2026, valued at approximately $4.35 million. Since August, he has planned sales totaling 191,300 shares. An executive share sale alone does not determine a company’s outlook; investors may also consider earnings, cash flow, and future guidance. FCEL Stock: Data Center Opportunity, Manufacturing Costs, and Lawsuit Risk

FuelCell Energy (ticker: FCEL) provides fuel-cell power solutions. Growing electricity demand from AI data centers could create new business opportunities, while proposed pauses on new data center approvals in some areas have raised concerns about project timelines. A 75-megawatt power project may be affected, and FCEL shares recently fell as much as about 17% in a single session amid policy concerns.

FCEL signed an agreement with Fit Energy to provide up to 380 megawatts of fuel-cell power solutions. Its backlog is approximately $3.6 billion, with about 97% of its sales pipeline related to data centers. The company also drew the second installment under a $49 million financing arrangement backed by an export credit agency, supporting a green energy project and clean-energy exports. Recent leadership changes include Matthew Latino becoming CFO, digital infrastructure executive Peter Hopper joining the board, and John Dansby leading manufacturing scale-up. Converting orders into revenue will depend on production capacity, costs, and project execution.

FCEL reported third-quarter revenue of about $33 million, down approximately 29% year over year, and a net loss of roughly $45.3 million. Product costs and manufacturing overhead for the Fit Energy agreement exceeded the contract pricing, resulting in an approximately $17 million contract impairment charge. Securities class-action allegations concern disclosures about manufacturing capacity and costs; the case remains in the legal process. The deadline to seek appointment as lead plaintiff is November 10, 2026. FCEL’s growth opportunities come with execution, financing, and litigation risks. PFE Stock: Pfizer’s Q3 2026 Earnings, Business Strategy, and Dividend Outlook

PFE is the New York Stock Exchange ticker for Pfizer Inc. In the third quarter of 2026, Pfizer reported revenue of $16.58 billion and adjusted earnings per share of $0.87, both above market expectations. The company raised its full-year revenue outlook to $62 billion–$64 billion and its adjusted EPS guidance to $2.95–$3.05, pointing to stronger performance than previously expected.

Although demand for COVID-related products continues to decline, Pfizer’s non-COVID business is growing. Third-quarter sales reached $720 million for the cancer drug Padcev and $2.52 billion for Eliquis, up 25% year over year. Revenue from newer and acquired products rose 32%. Pfizer is expanding its oncology pipeline, entering the weight-loss treatment market through its acquisition of Metsera, and targeting approximately $9.7 billion in net cost savings by 2029. Cecile Guegan has also taken over as chief financial officer.

Investors are also watching Pfizer’s dividend and legal developments. The company declared a cash dividend of $0.43 per share, with an ex-dividend date of November 6, 2026. Analysts raised some earnings estimates and price targets following the quarterly results. Pfizer also faces ongoing legal scrutiny related to statements about COVID vaccine safety, while its subsidiary Mylan has sued Novo Nordisk over generic-drug patent issues involving Wegovy. Pfizer’s outlook depends on new-product growth, cost savings, patent matters, and litigation developments. This article is for informational purposes only and is not investment advice.
