34 Million Dollars in Bitcoin Moved After 13 Years

By: ramzarz.news|10/18/2026 09:57:39

Two Bitcoin wallets that had been inactive since 2013 transferred a total of 416.69 Bitcoin, worth approximately 34 million dollars, on October 17. These two transfers were recorded five seconds apart in a single block, but there is no evidence of the assets being sold or offered for sale. The first wallet, created in November 2013, sent 248.853 Bitcoin to several anonymous addresses. The second wallet, dating back to August of the same year, moved 167.84 Bitcoin after more than 13 years. The similarity in the pattern of the two transactions in the blockchain data raises the possibility of a connection to a single owner, but this is not certain. Both transactions were confirmed in block 971894. According to data from btcparser.com, the total movement of old Bitcoins in October so far has reached 774.17 Bitcoin, with the majority related to these two transfers. This figure shows a significant decrease compared to August, which had 6,427.59 Bitcoin, and September, with 5,401.841 Bitcoin. The transfer of assets from old wallets could indicate a sale or reorganization of assets, but the existing data does not yet clarify the final destination of these Bitcoins or the intentions of their owners.
