21Shares launches Zcash ETP, ZEC price peaks at 1651
21Shares launched a Zcash ETP, a physically backed exchange-traded product, on Euronext Paris and Amsterdam, providing European investors access to ZEC. The listing was announced on Sept. 22, coinciding with a price rally that began earlier. The Zcash ETP, trading as ZCASH, has a euro listing in Paris and a dollar listing in Amsterdam, with an ISIN of CH1608218801. It offers price exposure to ZEC without the need for direct token custody, charging an annual fee of 2.5%. The inception date was Sept. 21, while the price was around 1540 dollars on Sept. 19, prior to the product's launch. On Sept. 23, Zcash reached a 24-hour high of 1651 dollars before dropping to approximately 1487 dollars. Messari reported over 23 billion dollars in Zcash transfer volume last week, the highest since 2021. Additionally, Zodl noted 62,379 shielded transactions, the highest weekly total since 2022. The new ETP and activity metrics provide investors with additional insights into Zcash's market dynamics.
